These Terms of Use explain the rules for using Mnemonicly, including subscriptions, AI-generated content, and account deletion.
Using Mnemonicly
Mnemonicly is a vocabulary learning app designed to help users learn and remember words through mnemonics, examples, pronunciation, context based learning, recall-based practice and 11:11 word of the night push notifications and reminders.
By using Mnemonicly, you agree to use the app lawfully and respectfully, and not in ways that harm the service or other users.
You can manage push notifications and reminder settings through the app or your device settings.
Accounts
Some features require an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in method and for any activity associated with your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact support promptly.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Mnemonicly may offer subscriptions or other purchases through Apple App Store and Google Play.
Billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes, and payment processing are handled by the platform where you purchased your subscription.
Premium access is granted based on the active subscription information received from the app stores and subscription providers.
Deleting your Mnemonicly account does not automatically cancel your subscription. Subscriptions must be managed separately through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
AI-Generated Content
Mnemonicly may use AI to generate vocabulary learning content.
AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies, mistakes, or incomplete information. You should use your own judgment when reviewing or learning from AI-generated content.
AI-generated content is provided for educational assistance and should not be treated as professional, legal, medical, or authoritative advice.
User Responsibilities
You agree not to:
- misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the app or its services
- attempt to bypass security, subscription, or usage limits
- reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform
- use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes
- submit content that violates applicable laws or rights
Intellectual Property
Mnemonicly, including its app design, branding, software, and curated content, is owned by Mnemonicly or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app for personal learning purposes.
You may not copy, redistribute, resell, or create competing services using Mnemonicly content or software except where permitted by law.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly from the app under:
Settings -> Account -> Delete Account
Deleting your account removes your account data and associated user information where applicable.
Some generated vocabulary content may remain stored separately if it is shared and reused across the service for efficiency purposes. However, Mnemonicly removes the connection between that content and your personal account.
Some limited records may remain where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups, or operational purposes.
Availability and Changes
Mnemonicly may evolve over time. We may update, modify, pause, or remove features as the service develops.
While we aim to keep the app reliable and available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mnemonicly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Mnemonicly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, learning progress, profits, or other losses resulting from the use of the app.
Children's Use
Mnemonicly is not intended for children under the age of 13.
