Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Mnemonicly collects, how we use it, and how account deletion works.
Information We Collect
Mnemonicly collects the information needed to provide the app and its features.
This may include:
- Account information such as your email address, authentication provider, and sign-in status.
- Learning progress and preferences such as vocabulary tracks, word progress, revision data, push notification and reminder preferences, and theme settings.
- AI Library data such as requested words, generated vocabulary cards, saved words, and related progress.
- Subscription and entitlement information used to verify premium access and restore purchases.
- Support information you choose to send, including emails and optional diagnostic details.
- Operational and technical data needed to maintain security, reliability, and prevent abuse.
How We Use Information
- Create and authenticate your account
- Save and sync your vocabulary progress
- Provide AI-generated vocabulary cards
- Verify premium subscriptions and restore purchases
- Respond to support requests
- Improve app reliability, security, and performance
- Prevent abuse and enforce AI usage limits
Mnemonicly may process limited operational diagnostics needed to maintain app reliability, performance, and security.
Legal Basis for Processing
Mnemonicly processes information as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate product operations.
Where required by applicable law, we rely on legal bases such as contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and user consent.
AI Word Generation
When you request an AI-generated vocabulary card, Mnemonicly sends the requested word and related context to an AI provider to generate the content.
Generated vocabulary content may be stored and reused to improve efficiency and reduce repeated generation requests. Your personal AI Library keeps track of the words saved to your account and your progress with them.
AI-generated content may occasionally contain inaccuracies or mistakes.
Service Providers
Mnemonicly uses trusted third-party services to operate the app, including:
- Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
- AI providers for vocabulary card generation
- Apple and Google for app store billing and payments
These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services.
Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside your own, including where our service providers operate.
Sharing
Mnemonicly does not sell personal information.
We only share information with trusted service providers as needed to operate the app, process subscriptions, generate requested content, respond to support requests, comply with legal obligations, or protect the security and integrity of the service.
Account Deletion and Data Retention
You can delete your account directly from the app under:
Settings -> Account -> Delete Account
Deleting your account removes your account data and user-specific information associated with Mnemonicly, including learning progress, preferences, saved AI Library associations, and related account records where applicable.
Some generated vocabulary content may remain stored separately if it is shared and reused across the service for efficiency purposes. However, Mnemonicly removes the connection between that content and your personal account.
Some limited records may also remain where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, backups, or operational purposes.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play may need to be managed or canceled separately through the respective store settings.
Your Choices
- Delete your account from within the app
